The process of making ART is my vehicle for self - discovery.

My process is intuitive, navigating feelings and memories within the process of applying the paint, making marks and sanding.

The figure is my inspiration, coming from moments of connection and vulnerability. Drawings are used in larger works, on the canvas and on constructed fabricated surfaces made from plaster and fibreglass cloth.

Currently I am making large fabricated panels from plaster and fibreglass cloth.

There is a fragility and strength in the work, maybe a metaphor for the human condition. Smaller fabricated works show a landscaped expression.

My process focuses on the moment, the reductive, connection, and the vulnerable aspects of the human condition.

The combination of materials, evolving into abstraction, a thirst for a deeper introspection and experiencing the moment can then transcend the rational mind into the magic of the creative process.
